Man,I could never understand any one using Tampax...,well now my period  days  are behind me.Lillets etc were so much better.Tampax, were too stupid with the bloody (oh pun)cardboard tube "applicator".They were like a poor version of  good sanitary product..,there! Tried them once that was enough...crap!

Well, if it's anything like their windscreen wiper service.... they'll wiggle them around for ages and still end up putting them in the wrong way.

besides... I didn't really think Halfords were selling Tampax...   it would amuse me if they were... but I am assuming we are mishearing it... 


ALTHOUGH... (warning... dodgy story coming up... )  last week after I dropped the boy off at school in the morning, I was coming home, along a country lane approaching a t-junction.. there was a bit of traffic, so came to a standstill behind the queuing cars.    

As the cars ahead started moving, something, some bit of litter flew out of the driver window of the car infront and kinda bounced along the middle of the road...


As I slowly drove past it I realised it was a Tampax compact used applicator shoved back into the wrapper!

It was a few seconds before the sequence of events in the car infront, prior to this being chucked out of the window, began to dawn on me!!!

YEUUUWW!

She was going the other way at the t-junction so I pulled alongside her... I gave her a frowny headed yeuw look as I pulled out!

Hang on a minute............Was this whole tampaz/tentpacks thing just a ruse to have a reason to tell that story.

no.. I had forgotten about that story... I told Ickle about it a couple of days ago.

I kept meaning to tell you about it on here... but we've been like ships in the night recently.

So the "insertin whilst driving" story is an added bonus!

I so totally expect this thread to get 5 stars now!

I didn't see anything else fly out... & the "litter" didn't seem like it had that kind of weight in the wrapper.... (oh.. there is just no easy way of saying this)

Xoch.. I have no idea why, where or when my car requires lubrication...  in fact, I am probably  more knowledgeable about the innuendo type lubrication than the Halfords one! 

Unlike Ducky, I haven't read my car manual!

Well, if they're selling Tampax, the brilliant marketing people who study product association will have worked out other sorts of lubrication would be a natural tie-in.
