As some of you may remember I had a problem with an ulcer at one point. Unfortunately it turnt out to be a part of my small bowl had 'branched off' and come up to the skin. Despite the fact it isn't normally classed as an emergency they got me in to have a camera thingy done early (as in 6 months after it turnt up) because people who have ulcerative colitis rarely ever get them. This made them think it might have been crohns disease.
So I turnt up for my appointment at 1:45, got into the gown and everything at 3 and told I would go down shortly. I eventually went for the procedure at 5:10, to find everything looked perfectly healthy. 10 minutes later me and my lovely lovely mum (who waited with me at all times even though she must have been dying for a cigarette) were pretty much running out of the hospital.
Good news though, except for the fact it will take surgery to get rid of the branch and double check the rest of my bowl is healthy.
Only bad thing is I spent most of the time up the hospital nearly hyperventilating and feeling very sick. Not to mention the fact I was in a very embarassing hospital gown.

Yup Nod Unfortunately mine decided to kind of cap itself so they couldn't see where it went. Evil little thing. How do you cope with yours?

They can`t operate on mine at the moment, so I have had something called Seton Drains put in to ease the problem.

I`m glad you will be able to enjoy your holiday first and then you can get things sorted out when you get back.
