Yesterday my friend told me that for years she only turned LEFT whilst driving her car.

She had some aversion to turning right in her car and didn't know why.

She sed it had taken her miles out of her way for years until she confronted her phobia of turning right.

I promptly made my excuses and went home LOL

Do you have a bizarre habit - come clean - its the first part of the healing process

Turning right involves negotiating on coming traffic and judging the gap etc. - lots of new drivers go all out to plan a route with left turns only - I know someone who would only turn left on the way to work - it took her miles out of her way but the bonus was, two of her workmates got a lift to work. I don't think she ever told them the reason why - they thought she was just lovely.

this was many years ago - she overcame her fear of turning right eventually (I suppose you just have to bite the bullet and get on with it at sometime).

Was at the hospital today with my son. A woman said can she take a wheelchair with her partner in it, as he had a broken leg, to the parking bay at maternity, which is a long way. the nurse asked why just leave him here and bring the car down to the door. Reasonable i thought..then the woman said....I have just passed my test and i dont feel confident driving

Some years ago I met someone called Mike who used to work for the same firm I used to work for. We talked for some time, then he started talking about someone else called Ted. Mike said that Ted had a habit of saying Actually when ever he was talking.

I didn't mention to Mike that throughout our conversation he also had kept on saying Actually

I've recently realised that I have a weight inducing habit that really needs broken

I eat all the stuff on my plate that I'm not fussed with first and leave my favourite part til last.  This means that everytime I have a plate of food I eat almost ALL of it instead of eating the fav part first and then maybe leaving the parts I'm not fussed on.

It's hard to break though coz I've been doing it for years
