Awful in what way?  Granted they're functional, but I suppose the need for visibility and lightness is paramount..? Beats being housebound.

Aww they are great fun.  My mum needed a mobility scooter when we were in Spain and in the theme park she asked me to push it while she walked for a little bit to stretch her legs.  It was too heavy to push so I sat on it and gave it a whirl. Great wee things for getting about  No shame in having to use then either and if it's raining them it'd be stupid not to have a rain cover.

Awww i do have compassion, of course i do.

I work with people with disability and i love enabling.

But these tents are dreadful.

I can't help but imagine one taking off in the wind like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz

My mate broke her leg (in Spain too!).  We pimped hers with all kinds of junk.

She loved it.  Made a great conversation piece wherever we went.  Not that she needs any help in chatting.... 

We were thinking of getting this for me mum.
