the 2 with the most nominations were up

this seems far more fair than previous weeks when punishments were dished out selectively - this week was a fair playing field

Sophie was not punished for breaking the main noms rule.

Um, yes, she was.

She was punished as were all the othrers who broke the rules - by allowing them to talk about nominations.

You realise that Marcus, halfwit, Siavash and Bea - at least - also broke nom rules before the twist, yes?

The HMs are clear that Freddie, Marcus & Siavash broke the ruless and got their food taken away, but why hasn't BB told them that Sophie has too? They are taking all the blame for it and the HMs haven't been told otherwise!!!

I don't know, I'm not BB - but that's how ALL the noms breakers - INCLUDING Halfwit and Marcus - were punished by Big Brother.

Even if it wasn't a punishment it's still fair as while yes, Sophie wasn't punished - nor was anyone else who broke the rules

The others you mentioned didn't openly discuss nominations so you can stop with that line, only Sophie OPENLY asked people to nominate her.

If anyone else talked noms it wasn't that clear.

that has nothing to do with nominations

the food thing is totally irrelevant to this dicussion.

Throughout the pass week, Saivash, Bea, Sophie, Marcus and Halfwit - amoung others - had ALL talked about, predicted or tried to influence nominations.

As a result BB decided to allow them ALL to talk about nominations - to make it a level playing field.

Whether or not you view this as a punishment doesn't matter - because either none of them were punished or all of them were.

Siavash/Halfwit/Marcus punishment with the food, I repeat, had nothing whatsoever to do with the nominations, that was their diary room antics.

Huh? openness doesn't come into the rules.

If you talk about nominations you break the rules - it doesn't matter if you shout it out in front of everyone like Sophie or you're whispering in bed with someone else. It's all the same.

Let me remind you of one of the Big Brother rules about nominations:

quote:
It is against the rules for Housemates to discuss their nominations with each other. This includes:

Predicting or guessing who may be nominated.

This rule WAS OPENLY broken by Halfwit, Siavash and Marcus MULTIPLE TIMES

Furthermore Bea attempted to influence nominations against david a further breah of the following rule:

quote:
It is against the rules for Housemates to discuss their nominations with each other. This includes:

Any discussion with another Housemate that could be interpreted as a deliberate attempt to influence their nominations.

So BB actually named those you mentioned as noms rule breakers?

SOPHIE was the only one who broke the same rule Marcus did last week, and from what I could gather from the Marcus haters last week it was his fault alone that all the HM's were put up for eviction...WHY NOT THIS WEEK THEN.?

I am sorry but as you seem to be repeating that the punishment was the hms being allowed to talk about noms, can you please tell me how this amounts to a punishment, why would the hms feel it was a punishment Confused

I said last week Bea would have put one of them and it was Marcus, had she gone last Friday I doubt if these two would be up. Her arguing with Freddie has certainly contributed to him being up, plus having their food confiscated hasnt helped. Siavash escaped because he apologised. I still feel tho that Sophie should have a punishment, she was blatant with her noms talk, but there you are

But WHEN SWG? I know they have before now ...but they were also punished seperately for it.

As far as the HL goes only Sophie was shown breaking the rule THIS week. If the others did and it wasn't shown then more fool BB, because if they choose not to have LF then they must take responsibilty for the viewers being able to follow the story line.

Because they have not they have lost at least one viewer because I will never again watch this farce. Shake Head

By the way.... I dislike Freddie and Sophie equally... this is not a favourite HM argument.

It's not just that LMS, it's the way it's been done this week with the main rule breaker Sophie let off the hook.
To be honest I think Bea should also be included, as she was with Siavash and Freddie at the bus stop and they were talking about how many votes they could muster. It may not have been as direct as Sophie was, but we all know what was meant. I think there is a good chance she will be up next week. Nod

Last week Big Brother named the people who broke the rules - Marcus and Siavash

This week Big Brother simply said "A number of housemates have continued to completely disregard the rules about nominations" probably because there was so many obvious rule breaks (like the week everyone said who they had nominated - when ken walked out)

I agree VS you keep telling us that they have been punished but how is letting them talk about noms a punishment? I don't get your logic either swg Shake Head

I don't ****ing know, my point is that this was the punishment that big brother gave the housemates - *ALL* of the them - that's the core point. No favouritsim or bais - C4 punished sophie the exact same way as they punished marcus and halfwit.

Yes, it was diferent to last week, but as I said in another topic people were moaning at another "all up, vote to save" twist so they had to do something different

i don't ****ing know, why do I have to kepe repeating myself?

the point i'm making is that WAS the punishment BB gave

regardless of whether you thought it was good or not BB HAVE punished sophie and the others - ALL IN THE SAME WAY

It`s only your opinion that BB included who you`ve mentioned as some of the nomination rule breakers. BB didn`t announce names, but we all saw and heard very clearly, 5 times actually, that Sophie ASKED to be put up for nomination.

Others have taken the flak for the punishment and she`s got off Scot free.

Doesn`t seem fair to me, but then again she is part of team nasty.

They could ave done a vote to evict, like they should have done last week..and please stop saying Freddie and Marcus broke the rules, they did not....only Sophie was actually heard breaking that rule, the thers you mentioned is just some peoples opinions.
