Big haired 80s rawk is the best. There is nothing that matches it. Like it or not everyone knows it and sings along
All this stuff nowadays sounds the same. I sound soooo old. I'm only 33.
I'm 35...and feel positively ancient sometimes!!! It shocks me that it's now over 20yrs since Appetite was released...hoe the chuff did that happen???
Great music never dies though. It's like my mum. She's obsessed with T Rex. She met Marc Bolan in the 70s or something and has never gotten past that. Now.....I love T Rex coz she brought me up with it.

Duff's on the telly
Kerrang - Slash's top 30 guitar anthems
Believe it or not but my kids put it on for me
I actually sky+ this the last time it was on!!! MrB deleted it by mistake...it was a painful mistake for him to make...
Your avator went huge.. but by the by I must admit to having a huge crush on Axl..
Then....
Or now....
Well knock me down with a rolled up copy of exchange and mart....

Errrrr...well I agree with you...wouldn't turn either off the radio though! I love Eddie...I had a cardboard cutout of him back in the day!! He sadly disintegrated after being left out in the rain when we moved house
Bruce has aged well....and he is very slightly mental!! I could listen to him singing all day...
I'm just gonna play "bring your daughter to the slaughter" for them. See how funny they find that eh?
I can't believe they are telling me what to listen to.....and I quite like it
A classic tune for a momma to play to her offspring...should do the trick nicely!!!
My two boys (ages 11 and 6) love this music too! You should hear them on the Metallica and Aerosmith games on the Wii....it's brilliant! Beats all that Lady Gaga and Akon poop their mates listen to!!!
Never seen my dad quite as happy as when " Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter " went to No1 over Xmas time .

I go to T in the Park every year. My mate told me her boyfriend loves the Specials so I went to see them on the main stage and they were great
Nowyou're talking. Terry Hall still makes me all hot and bothered.
But my all time crush is on Paul Simonon of the Clash. Phhhwwwoaarr!
You what?
Only joking. I don't normally like that sort of music but there it was like.....sun shining, booze flowing, listen to music. The bands I expected to be good were crap and the ones I wasn't bothered about seeing were fab....like the Specials

Great band. Got their stuff from when they were Tyrannosaurus Rex (no, not at the time, I'm too young), and loved the electrified stuff as well. Poor Marc gone too soon

Pet Shop Boys - Always on my mind. First born said "they are sooooooooo gay" Bloody right they are. Straight men don't make such good dancy music
Second born is being posh and tutting at everything

My mum has everything they released. She has this album with a bloody long name and she got it valued. It's worth about ÂĢ2000. Something about "the people were fair and had flowers in thier hair but now they're content to wear stars on thier brows"
My dad has an original Carpenters LP worth a couple of thousand too.
Note to you all.....don't throw away your vinyl. Get it valued

Yep,got that, and Angels Seers and Sages The Prophets of the Ages, absolutely fantastic stuff, discovered it in my teens and still listen to it.
Your mum sounds cool
I threw away ALL My vinyl...apart from an original Never Mind The Boll...ox ...an original Rock N Roll Swindle and the Eddie Cochran memorial album...
I was so stupid

I lost loads of mine in various house moves, gave some to people to'look after'. BUT my best mate got engaged to an old flatmate of mine, and when he moved into hers I got loads of it back. Thankyou God!

Sounds about right, with the tutting. Do they ever tell you you're 'so immature'?
