I cried whan me and Sazza went to see Evan Dando...never seen the Lemonheads though.

I saw then a few times...the last was at Milton Keynes Bowl and I was right at the front...OMG...and it was on the 'Duff side'!!! I really wanted him to stage dive in my direction...alas..no-one dove that night Frowner

I have to agree that the later stuff was shite...I think Axl lost it on the Illusion albums...those bliddy backing singers and all the strings and stuff....they were miles better when it was just the men and their instruments (snigger)....sadly, Axl decided he WAS the band...disaster.

A classic tune for a momma to play to her offspring...should do the trick nicely!!!

My two boys (ages 11 and 6) love this music too! You should hear them on the Metallica and Aerosmith games on the Wii....it's brilliant! Beats all that Lady Gaga and Akon poop their mates listen to!!!

Along with November Rain...this has been sooo overplayed that it drives me nuts! It is a great tune...the opening riff is iconic now...but it has been played to death! I prefer the rockier tunes personally!

Don't cry will always be my fave song but I do love most of the songs from Appetite for destruction. Think about you and My Michelle are 2 of the best Thumbs Up

If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life it would be Appetite for Destruction

Could be worse....imagine if I was a momma who liked Steps or SClub7...

Our house is very eclectic musically...I'm a rock chick with a bit of goth chucked in and MrB is a mod scooterboy....the kids love it all!! I grew up listening to lots of 50's and 60's stuff...and stil have loads of it in my record/cd collection...my eldest did a project on Kim Wilde when he was 7...he loved her and has several of her cds, they were all on his crimbo list that year!!! I'd like to think their tastes in music will stay as they are now...but who knows!!!!

I'm 35...and feel positively ancient sometimes!!! It shocks me that it's now over 20yrs since Appetite was released...hoe the chuff did that happen???
