Grrrrrr! I give in! Google Chrome or Firefox?

Ok, this luddite gives in! I'm going to download a new browser. Who would recommend Google Chrome and who Firefox, and why?

I don't know if it will solve the problems I'm having, but anything is worth a try.

Oh, and does anyone know if you don't get on with either, can they be uninstalled easily?

I have to go for a while, so won't be able to comment back, but would really appreciate your opinions.

I went with Google Chrome and solved all the problems i was having with IE7

You still end up with both and choose which ever you want to work with - if you dont like Chrome you can easily remove again through add/remove programme option - or system restore

I have never tried FF so cant give an opinion on that

I got IE8 it seems ok..................The forum gives me more problems

If you've ever been annoyed by adverts or whatever then you should go for Firefox, because you can download extensions for free which block anything you don't want to see, such as these two...

Plus the layout is pretty easy to understand.

I chose Firefox and downloaded it onto my desktop, so I only use it for livecloud.

My main browser is still IE.

I use Firefox because IE was useless here, but the forum is moving very slowly for me today with it

I downloaded FF ages ago but didn't like it. I hate change though so probably didn't give it a chance.

Go for both Jenny and see which you prefer, you can always go back to IE if you don't like them.

I'm using Safari, which is freely downloadable from Apple, and is highly recommended.
