I was watching her today on last night's HL show, when she had the disagreement with JJ that caused him to want to walk out. She is very manipulative in how she is with him. She knows exactly what button to press and how to get to him, and actually enjoys the power she has over him. She seemed to actually be enjoying it when JJ was going to walk and turned the situation to make herself seem the victim. She has an unpleasant side to her.

True Blizzie,I'm still cynical about JJ1.He stated he'd do anything to win this.So all his motives are a bit suspect to me.Ah well looks like he will win it anyway.Hope the allstars at the end injects a bit of Ooomph back into this years show,somehow I doubt it.BB is limping to the end of it's time ,like a tired old dog....oh get me with the wassname metaphor!
I felt very uncomfortable watching Josie with John James after the attempted break out. Her constant "stop trying to show me up", etc. made me think of an abusive relationship where one person attempts to blame the other for the abuse.

It is glaringly obvious that she is. She manipulates him, by going into a strop and ignoring him over the slightest thing thus making him follow her around the place apologising and begging for her forgiveness. Ok, he doesn't have to do that, but he cares about her and doesn't like to think he has upset her. She plays on this to get her own way.

He gets upset over the slightest thing and cries and runs off, until she has to comfort him back to his normal self. She's allowed to get annoyed with him, surely? Especially when he's comparing her to Shabby!
And she wasn't even stroppy, when she offered to change beds with JJ. She seemed quite calm, as she went off to check her whites weren't boiled dry!
They both care about each other, that's obvious, but he is more prone to tears and she laughs at the ridiculousness of it all (part embarassment at the situation and part cheering him up before he makes even more of a show of their strange relationship).

I agree with some of what you say. I am sure she does care and some of it is a front to protect herself. JJ also puts up a front to protect himself - they are both insecure. Of course she is allowed to get annoyed with him, but she does it all the time and most of the time to get him to grovel to her so that it then makes her feel wanted and loved. JJ's problem is that he is far too worried about upsetting her and he must feel as though he is walking on eggshells because the slightest thing and she can then throw a strop and stop talking to him. Only he talked about swapping beds first and we know that now because BB heard the chat under the duvet, so it all falls flat.
