Dearest Mods

Grrr! Mad - this is me being angry at triggering the flood protection measures when posting in games.

Is there any way the games forum can be made exempt from this rule, as, by it's very nature, it has posters posting 'fast and furious'! lol! Big Grin

Is it triggered by amount or speed of posts?

*back me up here gamers!* - it can't only be me that get's annoyed by this! Laugh

It's just a tad irritating . . . Smiler

Okay the answer is that the flood control will only kick in if the same user posts the exact same content within seconds. Are you playing a game that has you posting the same exact content twice in a row?

If that's the case, you might need to alter one little thing about the content (like adding an extra space or period, or something else to avoid the flood trigger). Let me know if that helps!

Hi Rosemary,

Thanks for looking into that but it isn't the same content that triggers it, I can be in another thread trying to post and it still kicks in.

Thanks Rosemary, but Sunnie is right - it is either triggered by posting too fast, or posting too much, but the post content is not the issue.

Sorry I haven't been back for ages but I'm testing it out again tonight Smiler
