its brill - the sequell wasnt as good but loved gregory's girl
Never seen Gregory's Girl but I find Claire Grogan quite attractive.
I didn't see this the other night, had an early one instead.
I love the film though, and 'Bella Bella' pretty much sums it up for me. Sounds better in a Scottish accent than in Italian.
I am as old as this film, almost exactly.

I prefer "Local Hero" and "Comfort and Joy" which I've got on DVD. I went to a scottish comprehensive and Gregory's girl never seemed realistic to me, the school wasn't rough enough.
The best Scottish movie of all time is "Restless
Natives" though, especially for the Big Country
soundtrack.

Local Hero was a FAB film. I saw Big Country a couple of time live, they were amazing. I had a right crush on Stuart Adamson.
Sad what happened to him:
"On 16 December 2001 he was found dead, by self-strangulation, in a room at the Best Western Plaza Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii. At the time of death he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.279%"
but I suppose it was a rock 'n' roll way to die and atleast he didn't die on the loo like Elvis
or die of something embarassing like Michael Hutchence.

I remember being a bit upset when it happened. Such a waste. But you're right, at least he managed to keep a little dignity in death.
