Yes They are quite hard to do though

 I've never tried. Baking isn't my fortΓ©.

I don't eat cakes, I used to bake..but not for a long time

I can make sponge cakes and I'm not bad at fruit loaves but my scones are a disaster and I buy ready made pastry.

I used to bake a lot when kids were young....and make things like pickles and chutneys eTc,....now ready meals are my friend

Poor little lad

I make jams and chutneys, I'm quite good at those, and hubby does the pickles. I'm not totally useless.

I can still make a sponge, but ages since I've bothered with different recipes, the brood moved out and there was no need to tax and frustrate myself

My sentiments exactly.....Mr K is always asking why I have so many utensils and gadgets when I never use them?...Dropping hints?

NO, NO and just NO! Eggs and proper vanilla
