I don't eat cakes, I used to bake..but not for a long time 

I can make sponge cakes and I'm not bad at fruit loaves but my scones are a disaster and I buy ready made pastry.

 Our butcher has diversified and has someone do home baking. I buy my 'homemade' scones there.

I used to bake a lot when kids were young....and make things like pickles and chutneys eTc,....now ready meals are my friend

I don't make those....the bakery does great ones that look home made

So does our butcher! They have diversified since the bakers shut.
