Normally agree. This is something that annoys me: vegetarian food trying to imitate meat dishes. Just be a great veggie dish!
I'm prepared to give Ashwani a "bye" though, as the "mock" meat aspect is part of the theme here...

Dad was a merchant seaman, and he's full of tales of being taken around Chinatown in Liverpool by his Chinese shipmates.

My Dad's a big fan of pickled beetroot, so we had it a lot. I used to have a problem with it, until I realized it was the pickling vinegar I didn't like, and not the beetroot!
