Ha! I usually just go for a main....might share a starter ...never have pud
White crab meat only needs a splash of vinegar.....no ponciness thank you

same here slim -usually only have a main
@slimfern posted:Ha! I usually just go for a main....might share a starter ...never have pud
I have been known to have two starters and ditch the main....not got a big appetiteπ€£
The reason "unusual" fish don't sell in the UK is because the GBP is staggeringly conservative when it comes to fish.
Sounds harsh, but it's true: I get strange looks from other customers for ordering haddock instead of cod in a chippy.

I donβt even how the dash of vinegar
Judge doesnβt like the chefs helping each other
ginger criticising again
@Baz posted:I donβt even how the dash of vinegar
Just a little dash....not fish n chip shop dash π€£π€£π€£

Yes, but at least his score doesnβt count

I'd struggle to eat anything that came out of our waters....I live by the coast
@Baz posted:Oh heβs asking for help again β¦..that wonβt go down well
seems a bit mean minded tbh -nothing wrong with helping each other
I'm now agreeing with Daniel about not letting the others plate my dish: this lot don't seem as confident and sure-footed in the kitchen as those in previous heats...

Heβs a bit full of himself
@Kaytee posted:None of the others have objected
agree - personally I think its nice they help each other

No, they donβt
@Kaytee posted:Heβs a bit full of himself
very much so - not keen at all
@Rocking Ros Rose posted:agree - personally I think its nice they help each other
Yes, but tbh they should be able to get their dishes out on time β¦.
I like Gemma

However at a banquet heβd help with the plating ....canβt mass cater on your own
Good point about the eater not knowing what a "Crab Pulsar" is: previous chefs haven't been shy about providing background info...

Harsh comments & low scoring won't help
If the fish is supposed to be boned...thatβs a bit off

Oh, I agree in principle: I just wouldn't trust this lot!
@Baz posted:Yes, but tbh they should be able to get their dishes out on time β¦.
agree but it happens every week - but think its a double edged sword tbh Bazzy - they are encouraged to do different often complex dishes which makes them pushed for time -a simple dish easily in the time limit would be a no no in this context

Yesβ¦.not many props being used this week
Oh....he forgot the cockles
@Baz posted:Bones β¦.not good
awful - fancy finding one in your fish

Yes, but they will have practiced surely , so the timings should be ok β¦..

That would finish me off β¦I wouldnβt eat another mouthful
