Good old Percy Shaw - the epitome of the "garden shed" British inventor.

But is it really viable for mass catering....Elf and safety would have a breakdown

I think Tom will be getting brownie points for innovation here...

Totally agree - as I said yesterday, many of the chefs seem to be paying lip-service to that, and it's probably another flaw in the show's format...
@Baz posted:Poor Gareth
Sadly, that's almost certainly him going home...
@Rocking Ros Rose posted:agree - a lot of theatre this time around
Yes.....it does seem to be excessiveπ€£
@Baz posted:So the only one he criticised was Gareth ....again !
yes - think he decided who he wanted from the start

I actually think they should find a way to mark anonymously......perhaps keep the guest judge out of the kitchen ......in fact I think I prefer the old format ....

Bias is always evident when they know who does what....itβs the same with Masterchef and Bake Off

I didn't see the older ones but agree with anonymous - this format lends itself to choosing your fave

@Baz posted:See , Gareth came out first in the blind tasting
Yes, but he still thought it was him
He knew whose was who

It used to be the case that they all went in front of the 4 judges for every course .....which I think was fairer
