(I watch to much.. shame!!)quote:Originally posted by Evans Above:quote:Originally posted by greenandpink:The other guy is very serious, but I kind of feels sorry cos he is trying so hard...Stephen Terry is VERY laid backquote:Originally posted by Evans Above:quote:Originally posted by greenandpink:

I dread to think what the judges will say tomorrow.

The judges are going to get in a real tizz I reckon. I think Stephen will win.The other guy not 'taste of home' enough...
I hope Stephen does get through and like you I feel James hasn't quite got it right.

I liked his fish dish, it looked scrummy. Not sure about his little Umble Pie on his lamb dish though although I'm sure he will have perfected all his dishes for the judging, presentation etc. I hope his ice cream makes it to the table without melting all over the place too.
Honeycombe ice cream *drool*

Not sure about my pudd arriving in a kilner jar, different though. He could have made a lovely Summer Pudding with his brioche. Something so simple can be oh so nice. *drools even more*
Two things I don't like about this prog are:
1. Serving food on a slate, or something equally as rediculous. If you're having a main dish with gravy it should be on a plate.
2. The judges. I just can't warm to them. They all seem especially pompous. The skinnier of the two men and the way he breathes in his food before tasting it really does my nut in! The other bloke seems a bit nicer and the woman is sometimes down right nasty. I'll bet she struggles to rustle up beans on toast
Having said that I do like the show (like most cookery shows actually). I do feel a bit sorry for the chef's as they are so competative and hate to lose. I suppose it's that competative nature that makes them great cooks to begin with.

The woman is Prue Leith. Struggles to rustle up beans on toast?
