Yes , home care can take a while sometimes !
It was actually the hospital holding things up - the care is quite quick to arrange here at the moment. Once we bared the teeth and started kicking arse we had him home in a week and a half. Hospital was a hell hole - that's my biggest worry tonight that he ends up back there (local geriartic place - he's been taken to the 'proper' hospital tonight, hopefully he'll come straight home from there)
