For £880,000 I would have built a new house, in it's own grounds away from the other older property. You could build something quite spectacular for half that money and buy some prime land for the other half.

Could I be be bovered  to rotate my bath?............I think not.....

Sounds like the parents will be the bigger kids.

I have built 'dens' in my childhood in haystacks and under the kitchen table....

It looks better than I thought 

And the warm glow of the 'cottage' shines out!

Not the best I've seen although it has elements I like and is better than I expected. I still don't like the proximity to the old house even though they are connecting them together.
