I use safari I dont want to change hopefully they will sort the quoting system out, also it is a pain scrolling  the post reply up and down the page seems crazy IMO.

nah... I love Chrome...    best browser for my needs by far!

I use IE for everything else but it's crap for here...IMO.

Some FM who switched to chrome could not post pictures or music videos they changed back.

yes...  I have been for ages.    I changed after I got a nasty malware infection on my lappy despite having anti virus & spyware software and security set ups...   I found out that this particular nasty exploited vulnerabilities in IE...    so that was that.

I have Firefox as my backup browser...  its ok... but I get fed up with all the popups and zillions of add on toolbars.

I like Chrome cos its clean... simple...  and seems to be more stable than the others.

I downloaded Chrome yesterday, or the day before, and can now quote just like we used to, apart from having to click on the " button.

I only use it for here.

It is odd Ditty and Blizzie how it works for some and not for others I like safari I have never had problems with it until now as I cant quote they said they were looking into it so I will hang on in there

yeah... I do think they will sort it out for safari users Marge.

as for some things working for some on Chrome and not for others on Chrome...   I don't know...

perhaps there is a box ticked or unticked in the settings or something

I've got IE7 so can't use quotes atm but will wait for the quote problem to be sorted out. Never tried Chrome but I once dabbled with Firefox - an utter nightmare and was happy to get back to IE

Same here Ditty - I worry about using IE. It always seems to be targeted by viruses etc.

I downloaded Chrome, just for here, about a year ago - when they couldn't get smileys to display properly in IE. I've just checked, and they are still not displaying properly in IE

Marg, you don't have to change over, you can have both. I've been using safari since I got my mac but have started to use google chrome just for here as there's a problem with quoting.  Just google 'Google chrome' open it and click on the download button...easy

I've always used it for the forum, free and painless

You're welcome Marg Forgot to say, when you download Chrome you'll get the option to set it as your default browser, just say no to that and Safari will still be your main browser

Testing,yep Firefox still fine.

I've been using Chrome for a few years now    I much prefer Firefox but it's open to malaware attacks the same as IE which is why I ditched it for Chrome 


I couldn't get along with Safari - far too cumbersome
