Off outside to have fun in the snow with the neighbours. Snowball fights snowman building and a vat of hot bovril with warm meat pies> mulled wine with christmassy mince pies and even the oldies with their wheelchair type scootey things are dressed up as meals on wheels with trays on their laps to make sure noone suffers from hypothermia or worse. Now THAT'S what community spirit is all about

So what does everybody else do when it's snowing?

Me? I go out in the middle of the night with a bottle of ketchup. I then pour it on the snow and spread it about a bit. I then get some old clothes, rip em up a bit and place them around the ketchup....y'know...just for shiz and giggles

I was supposed to be going out to my sister's annual carol party tonight and was really looking forward to it, (sounds a lot more civilised than it is!) I was having serious second thoughts about driving as the roads in my village are like a skating rink, but thought I'd risk it... then discovered that the battery is flat on the car, so it'll be a night in with SCD final and Kirstie and Phil!

I truly and utterly hate the snow. So I am afraid I am one of those grumblers.

I hate being cold and wet. I hate not being able just to get to where I want to go. I hate every single thing about it.

BUT lovely to see some people like it - have fun Hobbs.

I have been building a polar bear trap for that nosy old bugger at number 23. Once he is in he will be listening to Robbie's Greatest Hits 24/7 until he mends his wicked ways and stops twitching his nets and moaning about my music choice.

I reckon he will repent by the 20th listen.

I suppose I'm one of those that stay in and complain and grumble. I haven't been warm since July and even a trek to the GP or hospital is enough to cause me stay under the duvet for a few days.
