Few houses close by have been done aswell, me and my brother made a right cock-up last night, left the door to our flat unlocked and someone had been in while we were out.

We had a TV just by the door with a few boxes to go to the tip, the TV had been broken and wasnt worth getting repaired. So whichever clown did take my TV thankyou very much, you saved me a long trip down to the waste disposal tip in preston

Luckily a friend walked past. I spotted her and had to shout her over through the window to use her phone to call my brother in law to kick the door in again to get out! Still got 2 days off work. Only i had to sleep in the flat that night knowing i couldn't even shut the door properly!

Strange i know but i actually love living on my own and my flat is about the only thing that keeps me sane. Its my sanctuary from the world. My own tiny little space

and now the bathroom is getting done i can actually go in there without having to search out the creepy crawlies first

Nah, it's not strange. It's about independence. Our first house was awful, in a horrible part of Doncaster, just a couple of streets away from the red light area, but I would rather have lived there than with my mum who lives in a lovely area.

Strangely no, by the looks of it they only entered the living room. Went in my bedroom and my PS3 and the laptop was still there. I do have it all stored in a box when not using so its pretty hard to find.

I'd be gutted if it was me, to know some oik had been rootling around my house. Still, it could be worse - at least they didn't turn all the taps on or poo on the carpet.
