Have you done any good deeds so far in the spirit of Christmas?

I have done two!!! The bridge into town costs 50p each way, on my way back from town the other day, I only had a ten pound note on me, so paid my 50p but made them take a pound and asked that the extra 50p paid for the person behind me

And today, I have been to a real mad cat laydeez house with a joint of beef and gammon...for her cats...Gyps saw this little old laydee out side Asda a few weeks ago, she was asking for food for her cats (she runs this little independent cat rescue place from her house and garden) so she took her little card after making a donation and it was just the other night, after we had been talking about the wasted meat at work, that Gyps said why dont I take the left over meat from work to this lil old laydee......................I have never seen someone so happy and grateful!!! it was all very cute, and turns out we are  welcome there any time for a cuppa!! There was a rather emabarrasing moment though, where she asked for my number, I told her I would need to go to my car to get my phone as I didnt know my number off the top of my head, she told me to just let myself back in.... after getting my phone and locking my car I promptly walked back in.................................to the wrong house!!!! after a bit of confusion and an explanation, all was well again and both the laydee in the wrong house and  myself were laughing!!! I shouldnt be let out on my own!!

Anyway, have any of you done any good deeds in the spirit of Christmas?

I've just been on the receiving end of a good deed...   and its made me sooo bloody happy!

Just finished work for crimbo...  got paid, got a lovely pressie off the bosses wife (a really nice handbag)...  & when I got home I opened the christmas card & there was a big wedge of christmas bonus in there!

SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!

Am off to The Range tomorrow to buy the dog some more pressies

I think I should spread the happiness a bit...    I'm gonna donate a few quid to our local homeless night shelter

That was really nice zazz, well done, Santa will be very happy with you Ditty that's great, it's nice to hear of a grateful boss! hope your doggy is doing well I was on the end of a good deed myself; I sometimes buy 2 newspapers to stock up for the rabbit hutch, and when the lady at the newsagents found out why I was buying 2, she saved up hers & her mums papers for me and brought them all in and waited til I went there! How very kind?! I wrote them both a nice thank you Christmas card I should do something else though, apart from giving the window cleaner extra

Yes you do

I had a similar thing - my boss did not sign off my petrol expense claim form so all the running around I have to do in my car I am doing for nothing atm because SHE is not organised. ÂĢ95 worth of fuel may not seem much in the scheme of things but it all adds up

Anyway - you two and little gyps and the menagerie will gave a fab christmas anyway xxx

I did find, & hand in, someone's wedding ring on the floor in Tesco though...  if that counts

It doesn't really does it    Not so much a good deed as just doing the right thing

just think tho.. if you didn't hand it it, some scally might have it away to 'cash for gold' by now.

Zazz..  that sucks (I hate, hate, hate bosses that screw with people's wages - that should be sacrosanct in my book)    At least you'll not be skint in January though.
