Soozy, I agree with you that this forum is much slower moving than the old one, but on the whole, despite all the gremlins, I think the LiveCloud one is a much friendlier place. We'll never get back as many forum members as the Ch4 site had, but I'll persevere here cos the people are great, and the moderators are fair and friendly.

I haven't really found my way round the different places to go on this site yet, and I do think we're more spread out than before, which is probably a lot of the problem.

Stick with it SoozyWoo. We don't want to lose anyone else!

Everyone should just chill and enjoy the place. I get the feeling some are trying too hard to make everyone happy. Someone already said that if everyone left their shit at the door it'd be much nicer and people would be more relaxed (maybe even come out of the shadows and post more). If there's nothing to post in that interests you don't moan about it.....fix it. Post your own thread. Talk to yourself if you have to...I do it all the time

It took me a wee while to settle in here because I wasn't used to the social networking side of things. I mainly use the forum but I do like being able to post on the walls and reading other people's blogs.
In general, the atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming. I know there have been a few arguements, but those happen wherever you are - real life or in forumland.
We have "lost" a lot of FMs in the changeover and I think that is probably why the forum has fewer threads and seems quiet at times. Hopefully, when CBB starts, our absent friends will return.

I personally think it would be better if the threads on the following sub forums were merged in a MAIN forum.

I'm not sure how valid Soozys points are as I am rarely here myself nowadays and when I am it is not for very long.
I do feel though that any forum needs something to pull new people in or it gets stale very quickly. C4 had that because it was the official site so there was always new blood for every BB or CBB and some would stick around.
I'm not sure how this forum will achieve that unless it's by spreading the word on DS or some other site.
Oh and far too many of the funny, quirky fms have been banned or have just given up imo

I think what are funny and quirky fm's to some are pains in the a*se to others and are banned for a reason.

Well maybe so Cologne but it takes all sorts and I'm just saying that I think it's a reason (in my opinion) for the quietness of the forum.

I don't think this place is quiet because people are banned.

I don't (personally) believe anyone is that special.

Too much time is taken up here whinging and moaning on about how crap it is and to be honest when I see these posts I kind of agree, people should make this place better by contributing more (if they really think it's that crap).  

C4 was and now isn't and the sooner people get to grips with that here the better.
C4 forums chose to close, C4 the company chose to close it and people just need to accept it.

No one is better than anyone else here, people think they are but it's a pile of poop.

I know it's possible to have a harmonious forum atmosphere, it really is.  

I like mentals and crazy folk and enjoy reading loon posts, but I am SICK of seeing stupid bloody posts competing for forum top dog status.

Enjoy people, it's free, we are all here and everyone is encouraged to contribute, it's not gonna be crazy C4 mad times here....maybe LC can advertise on C4 website somehow, I don't know?

I miss the hysterical imsomniacs. I've not been here for a couple of days due to flu again, I've decided to assume flu is a normal state for me now and not having flu is exceptional. I like the clouds, I like that I can go for a roam around and meet lovely people.
