It`s strange how some peeps appear only when controversy starts. 

As for the debacle going on, I did want to stay out of this thread but enough`s enough.

Supes disagreed with Cupcake, so did others, as was their right. She didn`t like it and flounced..not for the first time. Take a look at the troll tank. Recognise the same flounce.

Attention and sympathy seeking imo. She got it. Job done. 

I don`t agree that she gets picked on. If you post something controversial, expect differing views. Isn`t that how a forum works? 

but that's the whole point of a forum....or so I thought. To discuss certain topics and air your own personal views. Even in the real word, not everyone is going to have the same opinion. When Big Brother is on, something will happen in the house and when you come on here to discuss you'll more often than not find people see it from all different angles......I always find that aspect  really interesting.

My take on it is: if you need a break from the interweb coz it is getting to you....erm....stepping away is a great idea But do people have to announce it every time?! I mean I am sure if cupcake hadnt been around for a while, maybe sooner or later someone would have started a "where is cupcake" thread and sure enough within the first page they would have been there....tis how it works...........I dont think taking a break includes not reading

It's not up to any of us, including myself btw, to question who chooses when and where to post. We can all disagree with eachother over the actual posts we make but this forum is for everyone.

Scotty, of course you wouldn't agree Cupcake gets picked on.  Cupcake has said, and other FMs agree with her that comments she posts are pulled apart when similar posts made by others do not have the same reaction. This has not been a one-off situation for Cupcake.  No  FM should be made to feel uncomfortable about posting. 

Of course it`s not Veggie but when it seems to me that there is an undercurrent, I may be wrong but I do feel it, I think I`m entitled to say so.

But what you did was to insinuate that Lee had only come here to look for a fight or cause trouble because she hasn't been here much - at least that's how your post read to me, My point was that it is not up to any of us to decide how frequently someone should post so as to not be viewed with suspicion.

No one has to bring a note to explain their absence from here, It is exactly this sort of thing that might put people off of coming back.

I do agree that in the past there were a few people that only seemed to come here when things were very nasty but, unless those people were banned, they had the right - no matter how much the regular fms might resent it

Well, I`m glad that you`re back Lee and hopefully supporting this forum. It has it`s faults but when it comes right down to it, it`s quite unique in it`s own way. I sometimes take a break when it gets too much. I have to shut my gob at times or else I`d get banned but in the main I love this place. 

I hadn't been here since early February,since it appears I only surfaced because there was controversy would mean there hadn't been a cross word since then,you must have been trouble starved poor thing,

I seem to always miss any crossed words on here these days, I don't read every thread and have no idea what cupcake is on about...which,tbh is kinda nice So when are you going to start the trouble thread...I expect at least one lisssssssssssssssssssst!!

That`s your take on it and you`re wrong. I questioned it and Lee answered. I`m happy with that. I`m entitled, like anybody else to air my views/concerns. If I`m wrong, I always hold my hand up..always.
