Maybe not word for word but he did plan to have him murdered

yes just seen it on Wikipedia -the actual affair was in the early sixties but blew up in the seventies

 The Labour chap who was interviewed first got a real mauling and this minister didn’t get off much easier.

It amazes me how many of these politicians ...of all persuasion....go on programmes unprepared
