I'm not sure what to think. If it helps other people, it might be a good thing, but it feels a bit intrusive.

Not to take anything away from Rio's situation, but there are a lot of people who have lost a partner, but who don't have Rio's wealth and connections which I am sure can help him and his kids get through it. I think there are a lot of people who are in desperate need and have little help to call on.

I'm guessing the programme is to encourage those who are struggling with grief, to ask for help.
That said, I'm not keen on the whole public grieving which seems to prevail nowadays. Mr Y is on FB and there seems to be a lot of that going on (or perhaps it's just the type of people he knows.
