Shortly before last years Grand National.
11th of June last year, i was visiting my family from the 12th and staying for a while as my mom was in hospital unfortunately my mom was sedated and placed on life support on the morning i was travelling, just wish i'd have gone a day earlier as she never came out of it

I saw ACDC at Donnington - Monsters of Rock, sometime in the 80s.Also on the bill were the Blue Oyster Cult, and that was the year of the Slade comeback - they were fab
I think that was a couple of years before rexi - '84 also had ozzy and Van halen....not that I actually saw them
