After reading what Aisleyne has said about re-vamping BB, I have to agree. 10 years of 1 format is good enough, now mix it up for the next 5-10 years (if any other channel buys the show).
Here's my idea (you better like it punks ) Although even I find it confusing.
Launch Night - Friday
11 housemates enter the house, they go through the doors, walk down a single staircase and along a corridor before entering a door to the right.
They are then told that all of them face eviction next week, however what they don't know is that the one with the most votes will be moved to an identical sized, mirrored image 2nd house next door.
1st 'Eviction' Night
On the 'eviction night' they housemate with the most votes, gets moved to the 2nd house where they are joined by 9 new housemates. A wall separating the 2 houses is removed leaving a glass, sound proof wall instead. So the 2 sets of housemates can see each other but not be able to hear each other, apart from shouting over the garden wall, which could lead to punishments etc.
The Change in Rules
The 2 sets of housemates are then known as the 'Red Housemates' and the 'Blue Housemates'. Each Saturday, there are Live Challenges, where both sets of housemates go into the same task room and attempt the same challenge. Once idea for a challenge could be that there is a huge vat of fish guts and they must jump in to retrieve coloured balls, whichever team gets the most balls wins.
Now, this is where it gets tactical, the winning team, of the challenge, will Win an individual cash prize for each member, something like ÂĢ1000, however the losing team will be the only side of the house that nominates and they can only nominate members of their own team for eviction.
During their time in the house, each team member will have chances to switch sides of the house or steal housemates from one side to join their side. There will also be opportunities to take other housemates individual prize money and vise versa.
I think 10 years of a 'social experiment' is enough, now lets make it into a proper game.
