Just been reading that all of them have agreed to make a return to record new material, im guessing that is because all their solo careers have gone to sh*t.

One thought she made it big by ditching the UK X Factor and moving to the US X Factor only to find no one can understand her and she was then booted off with the UK version not even wanting her back.

One released her own album... which flopped only selling 5000 copies.

Another also plans to release her own album, which will likely flop.

One of them is stumbling out of nightclubs looking like the new Katie Price.

And I can't even remember what happened to the other, is she still alive?

Cheryl's last album went to number 1, as well as the single from it 'Promise This'. Would hardly call her solo career shit.

Nicola Roberts has barely started, so can't really say hers has gone shit yet (although her song is a bit crap in my opinion).

They were always planning on returning anyway regardless of the US X Factor shit.

Being on x factor is likely to have played a big part in that...

Without X Factor shes screwed, unless she drops her knickers for Simon Cowell.

I'm not saying her solo career has been sh*t, I'm saying her career has GONE to sh*t... last year she had the whole country fawning over her. She jumped into the deep end though by going to the US X Factor, I doubt she was expecting to get booted off just a few weeks into it. Now shes fallen out with Simon Cowell who controls most of the music industry.

I agree ..............i really like Girls Aloud but not keen on any of the solo stuff!

I think Cheryl Cole is a terrible singer.  She has a harsh, dry, out-of-tune voice, which only sounds even close to OK when its autotuned.  I remember when she sang 'live' on the X factor, performing 'fight for this love,' and she virtually collapsed with relief when the performance was over; like it was a massive massive challenge for her to perform one song live, ONCE.  The best and most talented singers can just churn out vocals effortlessly, especially people on the West End and Broadway, but Cheryl is a terrible singer, with a terrible horrible voice, and really no talent at all.

It beggars belief how she ever became so famous, and I never ever 'got' the Cheryl Cole luvvin'.  I am glad she has been kicked off her pedestal actually.  I always thought that she was over-rated, and full of herself, thinking she was better than she actually was.

Whats more, do you really think if Cheryl had been successful on the US X factor, that she would be interested in getting back into Girls Aloud?  Not bloody likely.  Girls Aloud is all she has left now, and I'm glad that she has been brought down to earth, because I got sick of the Cheryl Cole luvvin,' mainly because she is actually shit.  TBH, the only people I know who ever liked her are teenage girls who, for some absurd reason, love her, and think she is great, and want to be like her.    My two teen daughters can't stand her though.

Must admit, I didnt know any of this.... If Sarah's a busy actress, what has she been in?  and what has Kimberley presented?  I havent seen any of them in anything on telly or any films.  And I didnt know Nicola had a successful makeup range.    Maybe its just me, but I havent seen any of them doing anything.. All I know is that nadine sold about 130 singles with her debut single

Sarah Harding was in St Trinian's films I think?

Kimberley has presented a couple of things - I think she was reporting on the red carpet for either the BAFTAS or the Oscars....can't remember which. She also writes columns for some of the Zelebrity mags.

Nicola did launch a make up range - how successful it was though I don't know

Nadine is the only one that hasn't really done all that much.

I liked Girls Aloud - but a renunion might go the same way as the Spice Girls one...i
