Brisket... as someone who is half-Irish, but born and bred in the UK, the gift always seems to me to have a different meaning. To me it means someone who can entertain and amuse for the good of all present. Someone you are happy to see at any gathering. But brisket and Lowi... it has that darker side too. I do understand.

Pam, I know the gift of the gab can be viewed from a positive point of view, is most often.

I have seen it in young people and in older people. I am not sure if I am envious or not. But I find I am usually extra cautious if I think someone has the gift of the gab.
