Multiple times in the case of The Warriors

I've still got a handful of VHS tapes and a working VHS recorder. The tapes include the Sergei Eisenstein film Alexander Nevsky with the music composed by Sergei Prokofiev. The film is almost unique in that the director and composer worked together in a partnership so that scenes were created around the music and the music was composed around the scenes. (Once Upon a Time Leone/Morricone was similarly created). Although Alexander Nevsky has been released on DVD and Blu Ray, the VHS version I have is a special version of the film. The music score had been replayed by the St Petersburg Philarmonic Orchestra to replace the original. As such, the version was sold in the music sections of shops rather than the ordinary film section. This also meant that the film was exemped from the usual BBFC classification requirements. Quite possibly the only feature film sold in modern times without such a classification. It's never been released on DVD or Blu Ray.

Me too. I have a JVC S-VHS recorder/player. The reason being is that I still have some tapes never released on DVD or Blu-ray.

Some of those titles are starting to appear on blu-ray, mostly released by niche labels.
