Maybe Kellogg's should sponsor the Election?
They could call it a Snap, Crackle and Pop Election

Only just over 6 weeks thankfully
When I heard the news, I felt a simultaneous collective sign of despair by the whole country.
That's the first part of the summer ruined.
Brexit, local elections now a general election. What a summer we are in for
Now we'll see who'll get off their arses and vote, and I'll bet it's significantly less than the EU one!
BREAKING: The CPS have told Channel 4 News tonight that they are considering charges against more than 30 individuals. #electionexpenses
A labour MP has just asked, about 20 minutes ago in the House Of Commons...what does May know that we don't?

That's more plausible than the guff she's been spouting about 'bringing us together' and 'creating greater stability'.

she means what she says, until she finds out that more than 30 of her MP's might face criminal charges

If Michael Crick knows he knows and that was my first response to a friend this morning...charges looming
I would love it if she got kicked into touch..........but I don't really see much chance of that!

As I said.......it's down to people voting

me either...if the Americans can vote for Trump, I wouldn't be suprised if she walks it even though they are demolishing the NHS. children suffering from malnutrition because of unjust sanctioning, schools falling apart whilst they create more grammar schools... the list is neverending, and we won't even got down the 70 billion tax giveaways to the richest in society

There's no opposition so that ain't happening.
I'd like to see Farron kicked into touch. That's Luke from BB's dad.
There could be opposition, if only people would see what these terds are doing
velvet donkey posted:The question is how are they all bankrolled. Obviously Theresa's funds are in place.
They're bankrolled because along with their salaries, I'll bet many of them have got their fingers in other pies The link's just been posted up there ^ about election expense fraud

Not with Corbyn. Leaders should be marmalade and not marmite
Why, because he focuses on what's better for the people? All he wants is a fair and just society and until some people can see that well........

I'll never stop moaning because although I realise Europe isn't all it's cracked up to be we could've changed it from the inside
Right, I'm done in here

Just received my Polling Card for the Council Elections.
PM to amend Fixed Term Parliament Act so that an election is always called just before Tory MPs are charged with fraud from the previous one

.......and talking of grammar schools............didn't the Tories say there would be no return of grammar schools....and no new grammar schools would be built, etc. etc.?

but, they also said no elections before the five year term was over...
It's looking blatantly obvious she was going to lose her majority due to police charges and that's why she's called it. She's hoping for a landslide so she can hang on to power even if these MP's are kicked out of their seats. At least that's what's being reported apart from the BBC

if you can get people to the polling stations you never know, she'd refused to go head to head with Corbyn or any other leader live and now criminal charges looming

The EU was set up in Germany and France's favour....no chance of us doing anything to change things there......and we don't know where it's going with French elections and three countries with dire financial problems, but we'll wait and see
