She will be fine, and if your anything like my mum the fact that you believe in her no matter what will put her mind at ease...
which is why 2 years ago I wasn't too fussed what I got as long as I passed and was able to get into sixth form
A few schools round here are doing that early GCSE thing, not sure if I agree with it or not.

She will be boarding *puts on brave smile*... but her school is the other side of the M25 from us... its about an hour and half drive. So she'll probably come home every fourth weekend, plus holidays.
She's bouncing around with excitement (singing "I'm going to Hogwarts")... I am trying to ignore the sting of tears at the back of my eyes. But, I wouldn't have wished for a different outcome... this is a massive opportunity for her.
(and I will be doing my crying here, in the forum... a week on Sunday! Til then... its stiff upper lip)
Been feeling v emotional today (hormones?) and after yesterdays hospital appointment.
