Is anyone intending to watch "Chris Packham: the Walk That Made Me" on BBC2 tonight at 8pm?

It's following him on a walk along the Itchen from Eastleigh to Winchester.

You're in for a treat, @Baz & @Yogi19 - it's lovely stuff!

If you have a choice, watch it on the biggest TV you have. Pour a glass of something nice and sit back (though a warning for dog owners - make sure you have a box of hankies handy... ).

Yes, far too big Ros ….so phoned a tree surgeon….gardener doesn’t do things like that …. and they are going cut it down ….chip the stump , and returf it . It will make it far easier for me to get to the corner bed /roses etc ….

the right side going going  down the path is more of a cottage garden and the other side has lavender etc - longish path - not very wide but we do have the lawn -  - I like mixtures of plants and trees but hers seems all over the place
