I grew courgettes for the first time but there was a problem with some dodgy seeds getting into packets from normally reputable suppliers and the plants were making people ill. Unfortunately, Iâve thrown away the seed packet and have no idea if I planted seeds from the dodgy packets so the plants will have to go in the bin.

Yes, I was gutted but, I now know they grow well in my soil so will give it another go next year.

I find courgettes very hit and miss -they have grown well in the past but this year not so good.
