I was having one of my walks this week.

My walk takes me past a church. As I approached the church I could see lavender spill over the wall and intruding on to the footpath.

As I passed by, I loosely grabbed some flowers and let them slip through my hand, enjoying the smell for a little while as I walked on.

Very muggy here. We’ve had two thunderstorms since teatime.

Far too hot for me .....although it clouded over this afternoon ....but I did manage to get out for a little walk first thing .....managed to lock myself out though 

Yesterday, I rescued a sparrow that got under my netting. No idea how he got in.
