My goldfinches have gone awol for now

The one I’ve had for a few years has lots of foliage but only five or six flower heads.....and they are only at the budding stage.

We have four and haven't flowered yet - i think a frost really hurt them

Mine definitely got frost bitten .....but I noticed a few  flowers on it this week

Oooo I am going to try that on my apple tree cos one of the branches there keeps hitting me on the head when I go to Mr Bs flower bed !

Awww My robin came right up to me when I was filling the bird table today ....so I tried what you said and put some seeds on my hand , but he didn’t take them ...

Yes, that’s what it needs ...but I can’t reach ....my daughters partner did it last year ....but I’m still shielding , so I’ll have to wait until my gardener can fit it in
