Is everyone finding the heat as oppressive as me. I have two thermometers in my kitchen and one is a heat strip and has gone off scale !!!

It was very muggy here till late afternoon then the sun appeared. It’s not as hot as last night, thank goodness.

I’m hating it EC ....I was hoping it was going to be cooler today ....and we did have some rain first thing , but this evening it’s a hot and oppressive as ever

Around 4pm we had a torrential downpour with hail. Lasted about 10 mins, then soon dried up and we have sun and heat again!
