We grew them in grow bags one year .....they did ok ...but not brilliantly

Couldn’t grow tomatoes outdoors up here. My nana used to grow them on her back living room window ledge.

Awww My dad always used to grow them.....I think most people did in those days ...think it was a hang over from the war years
