I was making breakfast this morning and my blackbird was sitting on the kitchen window ledge, head cocked to the side, as if to say, “Where is my breakfast?!”  I gave him his raisins immediately.

Yes  Might be one that hasn’t hatched or, just a bit of leftover shell.

Really chilly and breezy up here 

had the opportunity to go there on holiday a couple of years ago in Northumberland  but it was only a small boat and looked a choppy journey
