Wouldn’t want to visit Miami

I have. There are some great gardens to visit. A bit hot for me though. Couldn't live there.

I can imagine the heat must be unbearable at times

Actually, I should have said FLorida, not Miami. But I have been to Miami. Yes. the heat is waaay too much for me.

Yes , I like Florida ....especially the Gulf Coast and the Keys ....but like you say , the heat and humidity is really bad at times .....we tended to try and go in say May ....and went at Christmas one year ...weather was just about right then

I have a friend who, when he retires, wants to spend the winter months in Florida.

I can understand why he’d want somewhere warmer than here

Stuart: Oh, Sheldon, I'm afraid you couldn't be more wrong.
Sheldon: More wrong? Wrong is an absolute state and not subject to gradation.
Stuart: Of course it is. It's a little wrong to say a tomato is a vegetable, it's very wrong to say it's a suspension bridge.
