Yes , I like Florida ....especially the Gulf Coast and the Keys ....but like you say , the heat and humidity is really bad at times .....we tended to try and go in say May ....and went at Christmas one year ...weather was just about right then
I have a friend who, when he retires, wants to spend the winter months in Florida.

Yes, we thought about at one time .....but the hurricanes and bugs etc put me off

My youngest son and DiL have one and thought it was dead. I told them it would come back to life - cue son sending me a video of him singing, Oh Happy Days to the orchid in an attempt to bring it back to life
