I went out with the pruning shears today ....talk about therapeutic I found that my pink hydrangeas has bloomed this year ....you just couldnβt see the darn thing for the plant in front !

I managed to rescue my cauliflowers just in time last year. Had to blanch and freeze them though, as I had to lift them all at the same time.
