Mr B didn’t believe in pruning ....he considered it like throwing stuff away ......but if he did he went at it with the hedge trimmer !I think the only reason the sorbus got culled was that he wanted to build a trellis

My first husband was a gardener when I first met him .....and when I moved up here I worked for a landscaper for two years

Mine does what I want...he keeps the trees under control too....although they are tall these days....but it's great not having to mow the lawn
