I went through a phase of cooking with them, but yes, you are right, they are not the most exciting of tastes. Hence I've stopped using them.
Theyβre okay as a filler with other things but, on their own they are bland.

well its picked up a bit now yogi - the first couple of years we had loads from a plant and a marrow but not lately
