I've seen a car advertised that would go nearly 1200 miles on a full tank in combination with it's electric motor.
That means that you could go there and back on a full tank!

When I lived at home, my parents always saved food waste and composted it.
It's amazing how hot the centre of the compost heap gets.

Yes , so did my parents ....and when I was very little there were pig bins at the end of the street for everyone to put their food rubbish in .....and a certain young lady , not a million miles from here ....could apparently often be found head down in it looking for stuff to eat
