I have several shady areas in my back garden , even though it's south facing ....cos we have a 6ft fence all round it

I've never checked to see which way my back garden faces (I'll do it tomorrow) but we also have a six foot fence all around.

My house is almost N /S ....but at a slight angle ...so sort of SW/NW

I get the sun in the morning, it moves round the side of the house in the afternoon and is at the front from teatime onwards.
