I don’t clear out my annuals ...I just let them die back and quite often the come again next year ...even if they aren’t as good

I do that with tubs, it’s amazing how many annuals come back for a second and third year.

yesgot the one from last year we put it in a pot over summer and will replant it for the winter

Used to have them in a tub - they didn’t seem to like the soil in my borders.
