My Dad grows them - like bloomin' torpedos
My dad used to make a black feed sludge from composting plant material. Looked very similar in colour to that Monty used.

These are amazing and beautiful. I have to give a warning that one of them is of a spider but only people who are clinically arachnophobic rather than just a dislike would need to avoid it.

Wow ....some great photos ...thanks El
Baz, I'm glad you found my link to those pictures, I thought they were beautiful and the way they were taken were as if sunlight was shining through them
@Baz @Enthusiastic Contrafibularities and all those interested. I've found the website for that competition. It's definitely worth exploring.
Here's a link to the summary page of the competion winners (it was competition 12).
https://igpoty.com/igpoty-competition-12-winners/
Click on the Macro Art see the results table to see the photos - there are a few more besides the ones shown on the BBC site.
But on the same page at the right you'll see links to the previous 3 competitions and there are various categories so a lot more photos to look at.
There's another page on the same site which may be of interest.
https://igpoty.com/photography-exhibitions/
There are exhibitions of some of the photos from previous competitions, some of these are in the UK, some further away. And if you are near York that one closes in 4 days time.
