Did you sow them on top of the ground or do the seeds need to be buried?
I just threw them on the top EC ....thinking I was getting rid of them
Do they need direct sun or would a shady spot work?
Both ....if my crop was anything to go by ....but I think sun
Where I live it's mostly grass, but there are a couple of patches of bare ground that could do with some colour. They get sun until 12, then the sun passes behind houses,
They'll love that! Mine get the shade first, then the sun in the afternoon.

they seem slightly more hardy than the lovely creamy white ones-Icelandic poppies
Gawd, they are labouring that point somewhat.

Love outdoor evening lighting, but can't help thinking it is an attractant to all the nightlife.
